How long have you been a photographer?
I started my business in 2010. I have been interested in photography ever since I was in high school and after the birth of my daughter and my wedding, I decided to dive into that passion. I am also self taught.
What is the turnaround time for gallery delivery?
Weddings can take up to 90 days, depending on the time of year
Senior portraits can take up to 4 weeks
Family sessions can take up to 2-3 weeks
Headshots can take up to 2-3 weeks, depending on number of people
Can we bring our pet to our session?
YES! Feel free to bring along your well behaved household pet to take part in your photoshoot. Please bring bags for cleanup if needed.

Do you prefer to shoot in natural light or do you do flash photography?
I am a natural light photographer. I do use flash on occasion at events and weddings that take place at an indoor location.
How do you choose which images to edit and what type of editing do you do?
As a professional, I use my skill and knowledge while culling each session to choose the best images of all of the raw files. I then edit in Lightroom and finish the images off in Photoshop. I do not under any circumstance deliver all or any raw files.
How are the photos delivered?
All edited, high res images will be uploaded to a password protected online gallery. You will receive a shareable link in an email. Please feel free to share that link with your family and friends. All downloads are free.
What is required to book a session, wedding or event?
A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total session cost is required to book any type of session. The remaining balance is due the day of* your session. *wedding balances are due one week prior to the day of the event. In the event of an illness, bad weather, personal scheduling conflict, all deposits are transferable to another date, but not refundable. If you are a no-show to a mini session date, you will be charged a fee of $100 and lose your deposit.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. and YES! I love to travel! I frequently travel to Arizona and Oregon for photoshoots. I have photographed weddings in Minnesota, California, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Iowa and Italy! My passport is up to date! :)
Do you edit out acne, scars, scrapes and bruises?
I do edit out minor blemishes. Major blemishes and/or acne can be edited out at an additional cost. Please inquire for more information. Pro tip: bring along wet wipes or kleenex for those runny noses on children or extra snacks left on their faces before a session.
Can I purchase professional prints from you?
YES! To get the best quality prints, purchasing through your gallery is the way to go! I use one of the top labs in the country, which happens to be based in Eagan, MN, so it’s local, which is awesome! If you decide to order elsewhere, please make sure that any color correction option is always OFF.
What if there is inclement weather on the day of our session?
A decision will be made to reschedule your session by noon the day of. I will do my best to get you rescheduled as soon as possible!
Will I have the rights to the final images?
YES! Once the images have been delivered, you have the rights to them. I do however ask that you tag my business on any social media platforms. I also do not allow any alterations to the editing that has been done that could affect my work (no filters, color changes, etc).
